I still see his posts everywhere.

I am glad he did not have to suffer long, but it all seems to have happened so fast.

I think his last post was early April. Naturally, he also submitted an article to Pete's Express Magazine about how to use this Qbasic Forum and Community. He probably knew something then.

Although he could have chosen any programming language, he knew that Qbasic was the best language for the kids and noobs. He stuck with the very basic QB1.0 version and remade many programs to run in it. He did not compile stuff so that people could see the code and learn from it.

His worst asset was his humor. He made very subtle stabs at it, but we often had fun waiting to see him figure our jokes out. He also hated when people would not post back or say thanks. Sometimes he worked for hours to find bugs or improve somebody's code. He always went the extra mile!

Qbasic Mac will be sorely missed here and elsewhere! Now a message from the Creator done by Mac in Qbasic:

I hope his family can run this one! It is a fine example of his creativeness.

Ted
