No work has been done on this command yet.
Something old... Something new... Something borrowed... Something blue...

Probably not, but today there is a number of similar technologies.  Touch-screens and styluses are just two, and multi-touch functionality will probably become more popular later.  Should the functionality be retained and instead apply to more current technologies?  Obviously this shouldn't be a priority, but it's something worth thinking about.

I was going to post this morning... When will QB64 be touch screen ready!  ;D

I can wait for that. I'm keeping my keyboard and mouse. I've tried touch screen computers a few times and I have no use for them. For smart phones though, touch screen qb64 would be cool.

It's only rocket science; it's not Linux!

QB64 does NOT need to be used on CELL PHONES! The technology changes EVERY day! Plus we now have a lot of people TYPING WITH TWO THUMBS dammit.

What cell phones need to be is tossed in the garbage! I have one, but it has no "texting", caller ID(like I care) and no Internet. If I'm not home, I don't need anything but TALK!

When are they gonna create a CRAYON phone? I STILL would not get one!

I'd rather use the mouse than have to lean forward to touch a screen too...

If there is a standardized way of getting input from touchscreens and it is easy to add then I think it's a good idea. If there is no standard way then I think it's a bad idea (or the most common way should be supported) AND yes I think in BASIC :D

Can't be done until Port access is added.

Yeah, you're right. I don't feel any need for it anyway, would be good to have for some people I guess.
