'recompile.bat/.sh/.command' in next release
« on: September 05, 2011, 04:19:28 AM »
In the next release of QB64, across all platforms, there will be a uniform way of investigating C++ compilations and doing custom recompilations. Whenever you run a program, whether you get a C++ compilation failure or a successful run, QB64 will generate a file called 'recompile.bat' or 'recompile.sh' or 'recompile.command' (depending on your OS) in the internal\temp folder.

Why this feature now?
Because DECLARE LIBRARY is becoming rather useful, and this feature greatly improves the ability of programmers working on library integration to troubleshoot problems which are beyond the scope of QB64.
Something old... Something new... Something borrowed... Something blue...
