I like the acii chart, thats nice haveing it right there, I selected the "clear" or white page, as the color ( black on white), It  seems to all work fine, I just did some simple print  lines, not much code, but it seems pretty nice.

Excellent addition to the QB64 arsenal of tools Dav.  I especially like the ol' Borland color setting.  I believe it may have helped me to even locate a bug in qb64 IDE but i'm still checking that out.

Thanks for the feedback.

Lol, I didn't update the download link in the first post to point to the new v1.08 (it was still linked to v1.07) Just fixed that.  So make sure you get v1.08 if you want the new Autoformat Keywords feature.

Thanks, guys. Here's one last update to the IDE.  Added file Printing capability & Line Numbers ON/OFF toggle. Unless there's a serious flaw I think this will do it for a while (moving on to another project).

DavsIDE v1.10 - Small IDE for QB64 compiler:

* Added full Printing capability - now print your code.
* Added LineNumbers ON/OFF Toggle in View menu.
* Added SELECT ALL option in edit menu, & shortcut (Ctrl+A)
* Added FIND NEXT in edit menu, & shortcut (F3)
* Added the .BI extension to 'Insert File' dialog boc.

Updated my IDE with a couple changes to allow non-QB64 text files to be editing without being forced to show QB64 syntax highlighting and have forced Autocasing of certain words. Makes easier editing of TXT/PHP/HTML files, etc.

v1.11 changes
----------------------

* Added Toggle Autocase Keywords On/Off.
* Added Toggle syntax Highlight On/Off.
* Consolidated all IDE Settings to the IDE Settings menu.

Dav,

Nice job on your editor, was just wondering, when you exit the editor all the ide settings revert back to the default settings. Is there a way to save the settings.

Not in this version, but I have routines in place to save/read settings to an .INI and was going to turn that on when adding the customize colors stuff.  I'll add that in the next version for you.

Here you go, small no more.  I added saving of the IDE settings.  Now a small .INI file will be created in the program directory saving all options selected in the IDE settings menu.  When restarting, the IDE will be how you left it last time.  Still haven't added custom color selection yet.

v1.12
-------------

* Added all IDE settings are now saved when exiting IDE.
* (DavsIDE.ini settings file created in program  directory)

Implemented full user defined IDE colors - now you can make the IDE look exactly the way you like.  Changed the default color scheme to a much better one.  All your colors settings are saved in the .INI file so the IDE will stay how you like it when restarted.  Read first post for complete features list.

v1.13 changes
--------------

* Added ability to fully customize IDE colors. Now you can create your own IDE color scheme.
* Changed Default IDE color scheme to a new one. Old default scheme still available as 'Xebron'.
* Added a QB64 keyword to the syntax highlighting. (_CONTROLCHR)

This will be the last update for a while, unless theres a serious bug.  Enjoy it.
