Do you own an Android device?

Just curious.

I own a 1024x768 10" Tablet I got from ALDI and 8 generic cheap 9"(widescreen) low-res $100 tablets, so I'll be testing on these too.

I do not currently have an Android device. I use the Android emulator and I can send APKs to my mother, who has a tablet.

I currently have a Acer A500 Tablet (which I am currently typing on), and have very easy access to a Sony Xperia Z and a Samsung Galaxy Duo (the smaller cousin of the galaxy S), both of which I can use for any testing purposes.

Hi All,

I just Wikipedia'd for Android and Android devices. Other

Or do you not term a tablet a laptop?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 with Android Open Kang Project, Android 4.2.2.
Do you have a release date of some sorts where you actually want to release the project?
Is it possible for QB64 to automatically compile the APK?

Hi all,

I don't have an Android device yet, but I plan to get a tablet later this year if I can find a good and cheap telecom plan.

However, I've both and iPhone and an iPad and would love to use QB64 on both of these two.

Cheers.

PS: @fluffrabbit: where did you get the Android emulator and is it for Windows, Linux or both?

you can test Android-X86 with vmware or virtualbox:

it is much faster than the official emulator...

Wow, you're rich.

The Android emulator is part of the Android SDK, which is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, and I believe you will need the SDK to compile QB64 Android programs when QB64 can do that.

No, I'm not... Unfortunatly!

However, I got uncredible offers and plans from my phone carrier and got my iPhone 4 for € 9.95 and my iPad2 for only € 12.95 when I said after 15 years of service that I was going to change because the 3G signal was very poor where I moved 2 year ago.

And I expect to repeat the same scenario to change my wife's phone at the end of this year to get a new iPhone 6 and an expected iPad 5.  ;D ;D ;D

That's also why, thanx to Santa, I don't expect to get an Andoid tablet before next Christmas! :P

Cheers.
