saving an image from screen
« on: February 24, 2013, 01:58:31 PM »
I am trying to make a simple game, and I was wondering how to save an image(within qb if at all possible I don't want to save it to a file) and reuse that image as the new screen.

If there are any other ideas on how to draw and use a map please say so.

When you say within QB, do you mean QB 4.5, or QB64?

Use _SCREENIMAGE within QB64.

Use GET within QBASIC.

You can also use PCOPY to store the screen image to another page and later bring it back to the screen.
