Linux Club Moderater Wanted
« on: February 21, 2013, 12:07:18 PM »
At the Network54 QB/QB64 Fourm: http://www.network54.com/Forum/554399/

I'm looking for someone who programs QB64 in Linux and is an avid Linux enthusiast to mod the Linux Club. Dean Menezes "QBGuy" formerly moderated that sub-forum, but has been MIA for some time now at both this and the N54 forum.

Reply to this thread, or the one at the Linux Club in the link above, if you are interested.

Yep, it's him alright. I know. I tried to duplicate him once, but things went horribly wrong. By the way, how is mennonite? And I have bigger issues to deal with. I came back to this thread to discover I spelled moderator with an er instead of an or. Figures, anything associated with Linux, even a post about Linux, turns out buggy. I want to thank Garry for becoming the moderator at N54, but personally, I'm sticking to windows, at least until I remember to wash the Cheetos off my fingers before booting up. So right now I can honestly state that I'm firmly attached to my touchscreen.

As I recall, you are the one who created the Forum so that you could use Linus instead of VISTA.

Same story as Free Basic...  :D

QBGuy liked Linux, and if the best MS could do was Vista, everyone would have switched to Linux or Apple, including me.

I'm glad I included the Linux Sub-forum, because people who did switch to it need support. I'm especially glad since Galleon intends to support QB64 on Linux, as well as other platforms. In fact, this gives me an idea...

FB? I'm proud to state neither Mac nor I ever put an FB sub-forum on the boards.
