I can't personally fix anything because I happen to be banned at the moment, but in case you missed it, I suggested a few solutions Cyperium and/or Galleon could implement now to pacify you. This is really a low-priority issue, IMO. Users can easily adjust the global font size, and as Cyperium suggested, we can add a note somewhere to let the plethora of Windows/Chrome users know that (and if they use Chrome, it's likely they already know about Ctrl+MouseWheel, and probably have already adjusted the font size/page zoom to suit their personal tastes anyway, like I did when I first installed it), which I think would be the best course of action for the time being.
Cyperium has done a great job on the keyword updates, which is the #1 priority right now, and it would be good if you were on the same page as us.

The underlying library that Google Chrome (and Apple Safari) uses for rendering, Webkit, is probably to blame since the same thing happens in Apple Safari (on Windows anyway). I checked the font settings in Firefox vs. Chrome and they're the same by default:
Serif - Times New Roman (16pt) Sans Serif - Arial (16pt) Monospace - Courier New (13pt)
In Firefox, I disabled the "let pages choose their own fonts instead of using my settings" option (or whatever it says...), and there was no difference except in the typeface. I even changed the default encoding in Firefox from Western (ISO-8859-1) to Unicode (UTF-8) just as I did in Chrome, and there was still no change, not that anything should have changed as a result of that.
Anyway, I'm just letting everybody know that it isn't Chrome-specific. Chances are that if it's a Webkit bug, the problem is inherent on Mac as well since Safari is the default browser. Also, Linux fonts are somewhat different but pretty much the same as in Chrome on Windows. For example, the way the (N54) QBasic Forum index displays in Chrome is similar to the way it is displayed on Linux except that things which ought to be bolded on that page aren't nearly as prominent as on Windows. In other words, one might say that Windows is the problem rather than Mac and Linux since the latter two appear to display pages similarly, especially considering the fact that the same libraries are used for Windows and Linux when building Firefox. The libraries are compiled for Windows and Linux, but Windows displays things differently as I've previously noted. It can't really be helped though. It's just a difference in rendering on various platforms, not to mention the way the pages are built.
And for those who think to test in Konqueror (Windows or Linux; it doesn't matter), don't bother because things look fine, though the typefaces used are somewhat different than those of other browsers. I bring it up because some people believe that Webkit (Chrome/Safari) and KHTML (Konqueror) are the same -- they're not. Webkit is a fork of KHTML, but they're not the same. I don't remember if anybody mentioned Opera, but it also renders things reasonably like Firefox and IE (at least in Windows anyway; I didn't install it on Linux to test there).
I don't think I missed any of the graphical browsers that I have installed, in a virtual machine or otherwise... I could mention Epiphany (the browser used with the GNOME desktop environment on Linux), but that uses the Gecko engine just like Firefox, so it should behave very similarly to Firefox.
When in doubt, forget about the GUI experience and use a text browser that allows you to interact with the mous-- Nevermind. I almost forgot that you can't do that in Windows these days because you needed DOS for that. Well, there's always a DOS or a Linux emulator...

It should look ok now. Changed monospace fonts to Courier New and things look ok both in Chrome and in IE so it should look ok on the other platforms as well.
Edit: I successfully changed the font size using em instead of px or pt, as per the request from Clippy. I only changed it for the KW template.

THANK YOU CY! That looks excellent in Chrome and should work for most settings in other browsers! If stylin can fix it another way, he is welcome to try.
Thanks,
Ted

You're welcome Cy... Notice x-small fonts and then everything is based upon that relative size in percentage to make it readable. That's the problem. Use "em" or "px" to make the font sizes universal and this problem is eliminated.

lol, ok Pete I read some of your post but I guess I must have missed that (looked too complicated for me), instead I searched Google to find various methods to change font size. I have to look more carefully at your posts from now on! Using px didn't seem to work at all though. To Clippy; You're welcome! Glad it worked!

Pete is VERY SUBTLE and he often misspells words as he is like a lightening bolt! You sometimes have to read between the lines, but if you yank him about something, he will explain. He worries about those stars too much! Ted
