QB64 rewrite
« on: October 07, 2017, 06:01:22 am »
Rewriting QB64 in Free PASCAL would increase its user base while at the same time give it improved platform independence :

Quote
Free Pascal is a 32, 64 and 16 bit professional Pascal compiler. It can target many processor architectures: Intel x86 (including 8086), AMD64/x86-64, PowerPC, PowerPC64, SPARC, ARM, AArch64, MIPS and the JVM. Supported operating systems include Linux, FreeBSD, Haiku, Mac OS X/iOS/iPhoneSimulator/Darwin, DOS (16 and 32 bit), Win32, Win64, WinCE, OS/2, MorphOS, Nintendo GBA, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, Android, AIX and AROS. Additionally, support for the Motorola 68k architecture is available in the development versions.
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Feel free to make the changes and share them with us.   I'd love to see them!

I fooled around with FreePascal some years back. Got a nasty case of IDE's.

I have a case of IDE's, for you, I will sell at the low, low price of 2 bits. Call Now!
Will you still love me, will you still need me, when I'm (QB) 64?
